We Were Robbed
I personally cannot stomach the fact that Chelsea drew with Arsenal.. all because Henry took a quick free kick which somehow fell into the back of the net. That was absolutely disgusting. Petr Cech was still lining up his wall at the left goal post when the ball came flying through. How could the referee Graham Poll, in all fairness, allow that to happen? Was he involved in a gay orgy the previous night at a Pasir Ris apartment involving 2 bald headed bastards and their dads that he couldn't concentrate on today's game? Or did they take turns to cum into his eye that he is still temporary blinded and can't pass a good judgement?
Mr Poll explains he allowed the goal to stand as, he says, "Ya noe.. Arsenal being the impeded team that was fouled... blah blah.. should be given the advantage... blah blah blah... to take a quick one... blah blah.. my mother is a 3 dollar whore and moans like a wilder beast when she fucks my pet mongoose.... blah blah.. I stand by my decision...." Well The Rock says: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR DECISION IS! You screwed Chelsea and cost us the fucking points and the chance to go 8 fucking points clear.
Enough on the referee and his faggot ways. We only look to our own improvement. But we do take note that this has been the 2nd time a referee had cost us points (earlier in the season against Aston Villa we were denied a clear penalty to win the game). Mourinho stuck to Gallas at LB and realised he was too unstable and so at half time: pushed him to CB to pair with Terry and replace Carvalho who has a broken toe and Bridge is introduced at LB taking over Gallas. He should have done this at the beginning of the game as suggested by myself (see previous blog). But midfield/attack wise Mourinho displayed true ingenuity by playing 5 midfielders including Tiago and in attack: a lone Gudjohnson. The flying wingers could provide forward support and yet perform midfield duties, tracking back when needed. Lampard, Makelele and Tiago overwhelmed Arsenal's Flamini/Fabregas combo. Except for the 1st min Henry goal, our defence had been solid and our movements throughout were fluid. If this tactic can hold Arsenal for length of the first half, I'm sure it can defeat any Premiership side.
But after all is said and done, we are still 5 points ahead. The next 2 home games against Norwich and Aston Villa should be a breeze, though our record against Villa had not been good. But I pity Norwich who will suffer our full backlash.
